Roberta Speziale has a master’s degree in cognitive neuroscience and psychological rehabilitation. She is a psychologist. She is the Responsible for institutional relations, advocacy and communication for Anffas Onlus. She has a great experience in project management, communication, social policy, education, and training. Her skills are completed by the sound knowledge of person centered methodology and quality of life system, approaches related to intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has been engaged for years in the design and implementation of projects of Anffas at the national and international level. She is an expert in accessible information and trainings for people with intellectual disabilities. She has skills and experience in adult learning and training for families, professionals and people with intellectual disabilities. Roberta is in charge of trainings at the national level, especially on the subject of model of disability based on human rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, on the issue of education of persons with disabilities, on the theme of individualized planning and on of training and information accessible to people with intellectual disabilities.
As we help people with disabilities in their career development, we support them not only in the work integration but in their selected study courses too. So we communicate with providers of educational programmes and provide counceling for developing accessible educational programmes. Together with Slovenian student organization we published toolkit for lecturers that is consisted of methods and good practicies on how to arrange accesible study programmes. We work with policy shapers, for them we developed a national model of learning workplaces for vulnerable people without job.
