  • Improving the accessibility of disability organisations in Norway

The accessibility of the courses, teaching material and teaching methods of 63 disability organisations in Norway have been improved thanks to a successful knowledge sharing survey, conducted between the members of the Studieforbundet Funkis network.

The survey systematically collected the accessibility experiences from the 63 organisations (each of which represents one or more disabilities and/or chronic diseases) and used the responses to develop a standardised approach to help improve accessibility levels across the network.

Studieforbundet Funkis boasts over 320.000 individual members across all organisations in Norway, making the survey one of the largest scale accessibility initiatives to be carried out in the country. Further details (in Norwegian) can be found on the Studieforbundet Funkis website.
